General Information

Who: Youth in grades 6-12

Why: Each year our youth are more excited and inspired to take a bigger leadership role in serving God and helping our community!
Events: The youth have monthly events that include both recreational and service activities. Several examples are corn mazes, the Philadelphia Zoo, yard clean-ups, and volunteering at our local food pantry. See our schedule for events coming up!

Youth Leaders

Kaitlin Sallade is a long-time member of Brownback's and has enjoyed every minute of it. The people of the church are truly a family and are incredibly supportive and loving. She graduated from Owen J. Roberts High School in 2011 and is now attending West Chester University. She is in the middle grades education program and will be happy teaching any grade between fourth and eighth. Her greatest passions are working with children, music, and most importantly, her faith. Kaitlin feels truly blessed to have such amazing people in her life and to be given so many opportunities to live life to the fullest. Her weeks are very busy with school, but her happiest days are spent at church on Sunday mornings and other days with her church family.

Brian Iezzi is a member of Shenkel UCC and was invited to be involved with the youth group here at Brownback’s in 2013. He graduated from Owen J. Roberts in 2012 and recently graduated with his Associate's Degree in Secondary Education from Montgomery County Community College. Brian is now in technical school for HVAC at Deleware County Community College. Brian is an Eagle Scout and has worked as a High Ropes Course and Mountain Biking Director for the past six summers. Brian works at a local green house, works as a custodian in the Phoenixville Area School District, and attends scout meetings. He loves music, spending time with friends and family, and enjoys the great outdoors. He spends his free time hiking, camping, biking, and rock climbing.
